Commercial Transportation Training Center
Clark State CDL training school has been in operation for 30 plus years. We have a solid reputation with local carriers. We offer a 4-week class "A" CDL course (Monday through Friday 8 to 5), and a 6-week class "A" CDL course (Saturday - Sunday 7 to 5:30). Student learn how to properly inspect, do backing maneuvers, couple and uncouple a tractor-trailer, shifting skills, and safely drive an 18 wheeler in both urban and highway environments. This is all in preparation to take your final driving exam at the CDL exam site.
The cost for the training is $5,500.00, and this tuition includes the DOT physical and drug screen, learner’s permit, HazMat endorsement training, testing at the exam site using our equipment, books and study materials, and the final CDL license.
We also can assist anyone who wants to get a CDL Class B CDL license. If you are interested in getting your Class B license, please call our office to get on the schedule.
Classes start every 4-5 weeks. Please click the attached link for our current course schedules:
Our courses are not long enough to be eligible for any type of PELL or federal aid (as determined by the FAFSA). However, there are many no money down options that can pay for this course. Financial assistance is also available through several sources for those who qualify. We are experts at determining eligibility and guiding students to the best funding option available based on your particular situation.
