When first opening in 1987, Canton Towing started with just one truck and two mechanics. By 1988, we found ourselves holding several contracts with motor club accounts including GE, Geico, Cross Country, and AAA. This prompted the purchase of two more trucks. We signed contracts with the Canton Police, the State Highway Patrol, and the Stark County Sheriff, prompting us to buy two more trucks, bringing our fleet total to five trucks, purchased over the course of seven years. In the summer of 1996, Joseph Coram started his carrier and was named manager from 2002 to 2009. His dedication and conservative business practices brought him much success and gave him the capital needed to purchase Canton Auto Repair and Towing in 2009 and change the name to Canton Towing Inc.

 

From 2007 to 2009, Cross Country named us their Number One Provider of the Year. AAA gave us the same honor in 2008, 2009, and 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013. We don’t put a lot of stock in awards, but we feel we must be doing something right to get this much attention!

 

Today, our fleet consists of two entity’s “Canton Towing” which is serving Stark County and employee's with 29 certified operators and 32 trucks and “Team Towing” serving Summit County with 14 operator’s and 14 trucks.  We look forward to helping you, and we promise you’ll receive the same great service that we’ve been delivering to Stark County residents for more than 26 years.
